She will get internal support and in her own country, so revolution/ uprising, caused blood shed, doesn’t want anymore attention on his country, hes scared he will be pushed out of power by her. she is being tipped for world peace prize so is recognized globally.

he wants to cut her off from the rest of the world so that she loses her influence on the rest of the world. get authrority

2) Scene 2: Cutting off Aung San Suu Kyi from the world

What is happening in this scene?

the military are moving through putting barbed wire and fences up to cut her off from society and ultimately be forgotten from the world and will no longer be a threat. they immediately take away people living in Aung San Suu Kyi apart from her children in a rushed paced which increases the anxiety in the scene. the military abuse their power. National lead for democracy.

she is calm and collected,she wakes up her sons and reassures them to be not scared or afraid. she tells everyone to leave in a quiet manner and not to show violence or fight back but to be peaceful.
